Patricia Blazina's Obituary
Patricia J. Blazina (nee Carlson), age 73, of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday evening at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Elyria and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1972; having moved from Avon Lake.
She was a 1949 graduate of Elyria High School.
She worked as a bar tender at the Aqua Marine Resort, Avon Lake for 30 years before her retirement in 1992.
Mrs. Blazina enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and caring for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Ann (Michael) Tracey, of North Ridgeville, Nancy Kay Keller and Susan W. (Jeff) Anderson; both of Elyria; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2001; grandson, Scott Drwal; her parents, Walter and Mary (nee Esaias) Carlson; brother, Fred Carlson and sister, Anne Kirby.
Friends may call Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. The Reverend C. Michael Gibson, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville, will officiate. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
