Pat Hamker's Obituary
Patricia "Pat" A. Hamker, (nee Simms) age 72 of Grafton, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a long illness.
She was born in Elyria, and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain County.
She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Hamker enjoyed camping at Clare-Mar Lakes Campgrounds, and working with children as a playground aide for Midview Schools.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Harris; two sons, Donald and his wife, Kimberly "Kim" (nee Centonze), of Fairfield, NJ and Brian, of Grafton; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Simms and mother and step-father, Myra (nee Duttonal) and John Carter.
Friends may call Saturday from 4PM until the time of services at 7PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Neriah Edwards, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville at a later date.
