Oral Robertson's Obituary
Oral Robertson, age 87, of N. Ridgeville, died Monday, may 5, 2008 at Parma Community Hospital, following a long illness.
Mr. Robertson was born in Fort Gay, West Virginia and had lived in N. Ridgeville since 1976. He had also lived in Strongsville and Cleveland.
Mr. Robertson was a member of N. Ridgeville Church of God.
He worked as a set-up man at General Motors, Brookpark, for 31 years before retiring in 1980.
He enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his daughter, Delores (Davis) Chiodo of Broadview Hts.; son, Richard Robertson of Chickamauga, Georgia; brother, Charles Robertson of Fort Gay, West Virginia; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Patricia Robertson (nee Massingill) in 2002; parents, Sam and Sarah Jane (nee Kitts) Robertson; 7 brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville, where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Bishop Brian Palmer, pastor of N. Ridgeville Church of God, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
