Norman Bral's Obituary
Norman T. Bral, age 73 of North Ridgeville, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Lakewood Hospital following a short illness.
He was born March 7, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 23 years.
Mr. Bral was a First Lieutenant in the US Army serving from 1955-1963.
He received a Bachelors of Science with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business from John Carroll University, Cleveland in 1955.
Mr. Bral was the circulation manager for the Cleveland office of the Dow Jones Co. for 30 years, which publishes the Wall Street Journal.
He was a member of St. Peter Church. He enjoyed working in the yard and was an avid football fan.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Dorothy A. (nee Barszcz), Son, Gregory Bral of North Ridgeville; 2 daughters, Joyce McGuire of Lakewood, Ellen Satink of North Olmsted; grandson, Michael Satink of North Olmsted; and his Sister, Elaine Bral of Portales, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by Parents, Stanley and Claire Bral brother, Donald.
Friends will be received 4-7 PM, Sunday, October 8 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A prayer service will be held 9:30AM Monday followed by 10:00 AM Mass at St. Peter Church. Reverend Stephen Kaminski will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors at the cemetery.
