Norma Lyons' Obituary
Norma L. Lyons (nee Hancock), age 86, of Elyria, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria following a brief illness.
She was born June 3, 1918 in Avon. She had resided in Elyria since 1987; having moved from North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, crossword puzzles and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Lyons, of Elyria and Joseph (Deborah) Lyons, of Sheffield Village; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; sisters, Rachel Weitzel, of North Olmsted and Ellen Vargo, of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Lyons, in 1995; her daughter, Jeanne Dougherty, in 1968; brother, Arthur Hancock; sisters, Ruth Barr, Jeanne VanBuren, Marian Pickering and Zella Hall.
Private funeral services will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
Burial will be in Resthaven, Avon.
