Norma Hanchosky's Obituary
Norma Jean Hanchosky (nee Tompkins), age 71, of Homerville, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Crossville, Tennessee and had been a resident of Homerville since 2007 moving from Ruggles Twp., where she had lived for 11 years. She previously lived in North Ridgeville for over 40 years.
Norma was a 1955 graduate of North Ridgeville High School.
She worked at Dreco Co. in N. Ridgeville during the 1960's and 1970's.
Mrs. Hanchosky was an active member of Bethel Baptist, Sylvania and a former active member of Sugar Ridge Baptist, N. Ridgeville.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, traveling, visiting nursing homes and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew M.; sons, William (Alice) of Harpersfield, Jerry of N. Ridgeville; daughter, Andrea(Amy) (Jim) Morris of Homerville; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and brother, James (Linda) Tompkins of N. Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Ernest Tompkins and mother, Clara M. Tompkins.
Friends may call Friday from 5:00-8:00PM and Saturday from 10:30AM until the time of services at 11:00AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville. Rev. Bill Shomo and Rev. John Bouquet will co-officiate.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
