Nora Cole's Obituary
Nora M. Cole (nee Hampton), age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly Monday, May 16, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare in Westlake.
She was born in Bakersfield, California and been a resident fo North Ridgeville for over 50 years. She previously had lived in Michigan.
She worked as a head cook for Wilcox Elementary School, North Ridgeville for 26 years; retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Cole enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, crocheting, knitting, boating, fishing and western square dancing.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jim (Sandra) Hales of North Ridgeville, 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother Ronald Hampton and sister Loretta Smith both of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Joseph Cole in 1985; son Gary Lee Cole; brother Albert Hampton; sister Terry Schwichtenberg and her parents Helen (nee Daughty) and Reuben Hampton.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Paul Durbin, pastor of the North Eaton Christian Church Disciples will officiate. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery.
