Nora Wanda Carter's Obituary
Nora Wanda Carter, (nee Lester), age 90, of Mansfield, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Crystal Care Center in Mansfield after a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 19, 1924 in Lancing Tennessee and had been a resident of Elyria since 1942, moving to Mansfield in 2001.
Nora had been an active member of the Faith Baptist Temple, AARP, and enjoyed hand crafts, reading and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Shreve of Mansfield; grandchildren Scott Shreve of Akron and Amy (Stephen) Vealey of Mansfield; great grandsons Christopher and Adam Vealey of Mansfield; brother Simon Lester of Nashville, TN.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1992; son-in-law Richard Shreve; parents Roy and Grace (nee Mincy) Lester; 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Funeral Services Tuesday, January 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of Service. Brother Ray Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be in Ridge Hill Cemetery.
