Nathaniel "Nate" Martin's Obituary
Nathaniel “Nate” Martin, age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
He was born in West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 46 years.
Nate worked as a tow motor operator for the Chevy Parma Plant, retiring in 1991 after 33 years of service.
He was a 32nd Degree member of Masonic Lodge 399 in Lagrange.
Nate was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and camping. He loved going to casinos. He was an amazing man that would do anything for anyone but especially his wife, daughter and his grandkids. Nate, loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His great grandson Masen was born at 29 weeks, just in November, and his guardian angel brought him home from the NICU on December 27.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda (nee Gunnoe); daughter, Michelle Zuckerman of LaGrange; grandchildren, David Zuckerman, Ashley (Dylan Baker) Zuckerman, Dale Price II; great-grandchildren, Addison and David Zuckerman, Masen Baker; brother, Delano (Sue) Martin of Georgia; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen (nee Proctor) Martin; step-son, Dale Price; sisters, Mae Harper and Jane Pickering.
Friends may call Friday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Masonic Service will be held at at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 10AM in the funeral home. Tim Fenske will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
