Nancy L. Poszgai's Obituary
Nancy Lou Poszgai (nee Foster), age 70 of Sheffield Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born in Oberlin, raised in Wellington, and lived in Sheffield Lake.
She worked as a seamstress for Hales and Kearns, retiring in 2005.
Nancy enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, Sudoku puzzles, playing BINGO and cards, and being with her family. For years, she co-managed youth baseball in Sheffield and Sheffield Lake.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, David; daughters Deborah (Joe) Erbs of Atwater, Michelle (Robert) Schmidt of Stow; grandchildren, Megan, Emily and Sarah; sisters, Kay (Jack) Salzman of Medina and Barbara (Christopher) Lloyd of of Kenneth City, FL.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric Schmidt; parents, Charles and Eleanor (nee Hopkins) Foster; brother Larry Foster; sister-in-law Cynthia (Jones) Foster.
Arrangements are under the care of the Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
