Nancy L. Hollingshead's Obituary
Nancy L. Hollingshead (nee Nagel), age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
She was born in Lorain and spent her childhood in Avon before moving to North Ridgeville, where she lived since 1951.
Nancy enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, flower gardening and baking.
She was a life member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 9871 in North Ridgeville.
Survivors include her sons, Chet Hollingshead of North Ridgeville, Tim Hollingshead of Parma, Robert “Buck” (Gerri) Hollingshead of North Olmsted, Bill Hollingshead of North Ridgeville; daughter, Mary Lugar of Avon; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Holly” Hollingshead; parents, Albert and Helen Nagel; brothers, Donald and LeRoy Nagel.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where the VFW Post 9871 Ladies Auxiliary will conduct services at 7PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 12PM in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
