Nancy Ann Buckey's Obituary
Nancy Ann Buckey (née Dusek), age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her home. She was born on August 1, 1948, in Moreland Hills, Ohio and was a graduate of Orange High School. She went on to earn her associates degree and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in home health care and Medicare billing for Kaiser Permanente, retiring in 2021.
Nancy enjoyed spending time at the beach and relaxing at her cottage in Vermilion. She had a passion for gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers. Nancy loved attending concerts and was a devoted fan of Pink Floyd. An avid animal lover, she shared her home and heart with many cats and dogs over the years.
She is survived by her sons Eric (Melissa) Boomer of Knoxville, Tennessee and Scott (Mayu) Boomer of San Ramon, California; grandchildren Alistair Boomer and Ashley (Daniel) Boomer; great grandson Korbin Boomer; sister Patricia Timperio; many nieces, nephews and lifelong friend Renee Williams.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband John Buckey; daughter Danielle Burkhard; parents Anne and James Dusek; brothers Jimmy and John Dusek.
