Nancy J. Brzezinski's Obituary
Nancy J. Brzezinski (nee Bell), age 81, of North Ridgeville passed away Friday December 22, 2023 at Danbury Senior Living in North Ridgeville.
Born in Toronto, Ohio, she had resided in North Ridgeville for over 50 years.
Mrs. Brzezinski was a substitute teacher for North Ridgeville City Schools for many years. She was highly sought after and often requested due to her meticulous attention to detail and her simple love of helping students learn. She always encouraged her daughters to read and learn new words. The running joke in the family was when Nancy would announce, "Vocabulary Development" and then teach her daughters a new word (even up to when the girls were in their 40s!)!
She loved helping others, reading, music, and was an avid Ohio State fan. Before her illness began, she could tell you the Ohio State football roster and tell you a player's number, what position he played, and what high school he went to.
She is survived by her daughters, Jill Brzezinski of Olmsted Falls, Amy (Keith) Konya of Columbus, granddaughter Alison Konya, sister Martha Greathouse of Moundsville, WV and her pet grand fur babies.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William F., parents Robert and Julia Bell, and her brother Gary Bell.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4PM until the time of Memorial Service at 5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Chaplin Dan Edgerly will officiate.
To honor her love of Ohio State football, guests are encouraged to wear Ohio State clothing. Private burial will take place in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
