Myrtle Kelley's Obituary
Myrtle Marie Kelley (nee Barckert), age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday at Medina General Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born in Amherst and lived in North Ridgeville since 1948.
She was currently working at Ridge Tool, Elyria, in the shipping and receiving department.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, North Ridgeville and the Lorain County Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and was interested in genealogy.
Survivors include her two daughters, Ruth Davis of Tucson, Arizona and Lois Kelley of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, one son Jim Kelley of North Ridgeville, six grandchildren, brothers Charles and Robert Barckert both of Amherst and sister, Alberta Dorksen of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Amelia (nee Arndt) Barckert.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday. Reverend David Connor will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
