Murriel H. Raines' Obituary
Murriel H. Raines (nee Fife), age 81, of North Ridgeville passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Northridge Health Center.
She was born in Maple Heights and had lived in Parma before moving to North Ridgeville over 40 years ago.
Mrs. Raines worked as a mixologist at the Dover Chalet and then later at Eddy’s Chalet West before it’s closing. She continued to work until the age of 79, most recently at Fairview Photo.
A very caring person, she helped raise three foster children. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, Ballroom Dancing, and singing.
She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include her son Bob Raines of North Ridgeville and several cousins, including Kerry Friedl, Debbie Mayberry, Dan, Linda, Karen, Debbie, and David Fife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Harriett Fife, sisters, Burnell Phillips, Myrtle Brailey, Elladaye Holiday and her brother, Bud Fife.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
