Mona Maralee Palmer's Obituary
Mona Maralee Palmer (nee Riley) age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on May 30, 2017 at her daughter’s home.
She was born on December 12, 1939 in Fornfelt, Missouri and has been a resident of Sheffield Lake for the past 54 years, moving from Cape Gerardo, Missouri. She worked as a Manager for the Sugar Creek Restaurant in Sheffield Village and had been a licensed real estate agent for many years.
Mona was an avid reader who enjoyed shopping, crocheting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Michael (Alice) of Amherst, Robert (Melissa) of Lorain, Mark (Tracey) of Grafton; daughter, Susan (Tony) Beitler of North Ridgeville; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Ron) Sester and Sue Weber both of Kingston, Illinois, Terry (Vicky) Riley of Michigan, Lynn (Aloma) Riley of Iowa, Jim (Shirley) Riley of Wisconsin, Alice Muniz of Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; daughter, Monica Palmer; siblings, Ruth Dixon, Louise Beasley, Raymond Riley, Jack Riley, Bill Riley, Judy Riley and Sherrie White; parents, Emmett and Frances (nee Turner) Riley.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Sunday from 2-5 p.m., where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ron Harrison will officiate. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
