Molly Ellis' Obituary
Molly Ellis, (nee Lesko), age 77, of Elyria, died Wednesday at Hospice Residential Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a long illness.
She was born in Sheffield Township and had been a lifelong resident of Lorain and Elyria.
Mrs. Ellis was a 1944 graduate of Clearview High School and a 1948 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
She taught 3rd grade at St. Vincent DePaul and Vincent Elementary schools for many years. She most recently was associated with Lorain County Office of Great Day! Tours.
She was a charter member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Elyria. She was also a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at Bowling Green and was past President of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Vincent DePaul and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed traveling and sending greeting cards to family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include her daughter, Annamarie Ellis of Denver; her sister, Estelle St. Claire of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael F. Ellis in 1999 and parents, John and Stella Lesko both in 1979.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a Rosary Service will be held by the Altar and Rosary Society at 3 PM. Prayer services will be held at 9:45 AM on Monday in the funeral home followed by a 10:30AM Mass at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 41295 North Ridge Road, Elyria. Rev. James Ols, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
