Minnie E. Arthur's Obituary
Minnie E. Arthur (nee Likens), age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Ames Family Hospice House after a lengthy illness.
She was born on February 21, 1934 in Fayetteville, West Virginia and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for over 40 years, moving from Cleveland. She worked as a Supervisor for H&R Block for many years.
Minnie enjoyed reading, watching the birds she fed throughout the year in her backyard, and in the summer months, loved tending to her garden and rose bushes.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James; daughter Sue (John) Kelly of North Ridgeville; sons Michael and David Arthur on North Ridgeville; grandsons Shawn (Melissa) Kelly and Brian Kelly; granddaughter Jennifer Martin; sister Ruth Likens; brother Clifford Eads; many nieces and nephews.
Minnie was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Martin; parents William and Emma (nee Smith) Likens; sister Vivian Likens; brother Robert Likens.
Services will be private. Interment will take place in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
The family requests donations be made in Minnie’s name to the Ames Family Hospice House, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
