Millie Mae Cyrus' Obituary
Millie Mae Cyrus (nee Browning), age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Crocker Pointe Heath and Rehabilitation Center in Westlake. She was born on February 14, 1947, in Verner, West Virginia, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 52 years, moving from Elyria. She attended Cathedral of Life Church in North Ridgeville. Millie worked in sales at Richman Brothers and retired from JCPenney in 2019. Millie was a social butterfly, she never met a person she didn’t like. She was an extremely loving and caring person. Millie was very selfless, always putting others first. She kept in touch with friends, going to lunch regularly with them. She enjoyed flowers, taking long walks in the park, watching the Cleveland Guardians, and had bowled on many leagues over the years. Millie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren, and her rescue cat “Kitty”.
She is survived by her daughter Pam (Dave) Keller of North Ridgeville, stepdaughters Brenda Perrin of Iowa and Wanda Posey of Tennessee; granddaughters Ashley, Brittany and Heather; great grandchildren Anderson, Harper, Bailee, Tyler and Grayson; sister Ruth Browning of Parma; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Press H. Cyrus; stepson Henry Cyrus; parents Effie May (nee Lester) and Landon Browning; brothers Ernie, Delmas, Lonnie, Bob, Michael Landon and Rondal Ray Browning.
Friends may call Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home. 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 10AM in the funeral home. Rev. Mike Payne will officiate.
Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
