Mildred Ward's Obituary
Mildred L. Ward (nee Lewis), age 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011, at her home, following a short illness.
She was born in Stearns, Kentucky and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 32 years. She previously lived in Clearwater, Florida and for many years in Dayton.
Mildred worked as a production supervisor for Kindt-Collins Company in Cleveland, retiring in 1997.
She enjoyed planning family gatherings, especially at Christmas, fishing, playing BINGO and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Gary; daughters, Barbara Cox of Ravenna, Peggy (Dave) Hower of Elyria, Mercedes Burgess of North Ridgeville, Julia (Pat) Suter of Andover; grandchildren, April, Jason, Kim, Yvonne, Brandon, Alex, Kimmie, Kristian, Keith, Kalvin; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Chris, John, Jenna, Evan, Kyle, Kaylynn, Tory, Alex, Cheyenne, Morgan; great-great-granddaughter, Karlie; sisters, Bernice Pemberton of Dayton, Eva Hill of Revlo, KY; brothers, Estil (Louise) Lewis of Folsom, CA, Garland Stinnett of Dayton, TN.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Koverman; granddaughter, Vanessa VanGieson; grandson, Brian Burgess; brothers, Leo and Roger Lewis; father, Fess Lewis and mother, Nary Stinnett.
Friends may call Thursday 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the funeral home. Rev. Bobby Blackburn will officiate.
Burial in Ridgeville Cemetery.
