Mildred Komko Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mildred R. Komko (nee Radomilovich), age 82 of Strongsville, formerly of Elyria, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Residential Hospice Center of Southwest General. She was born April 14, 1923 in Steubenville, Ohio. She had resided in Strongsville the past 3 months moving from Elyria where she had lived 59 years. She was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was a past president of St. George KOLA Women's group. Mrs. Komko retired in 1983 from Stanadyne, Elyria after 14 years. She had previously managed the Porterhouse Restaurant in North Ridgeville, worked at Knottypine Restaurant in North Ridgeville and at the Elyria Bowling Center. She also worked the poling stations for the Lorain County Board of Elections. She enjoyed cooking, and flower gardening. Surviving are 2 sons, Michael Komko of North Ridgeville, Danny D. Komko of Aztec, New Mexico; 2 daughters, Mary S. Davies of Lorain, Bettie Styfurak of Strongsville; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; Sister, Betty Matovich, of PA; 2 brothers, Donald Radomilovich of Milwaukee, WS, Michael Radd of Elyria. She was preceded in death by husband, John in 1986, Parents Michael and Dorothy Radomilovich, brothers, Samuel and Nicholas and sister Josephine Selman-Lynch Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday, May 25 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, where a Pomen Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 PM. Services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Reverend Milorad Orlic Pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church officiating.
