Mildred Jones' Obituary
Mildred V. Jones (nee Quinn), age 82, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Cranberry Ridge, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1954. She had previously lived in Cleveland.
Mrs. Jones had worked as an assembler for Bendix-Westinghouse and Accurate Electronics.
She was an avid gardener and loved to travel.
Survivors include daughters, Sheila War of North Ridgeville, Carol Howard of Spencer; sons, Danny Powers of North Ridgeville, Dennis Powers of Elyria ; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Coe of Cleveland; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Powers, second husband Bobby Jones; son Eugene Strader; sisters Eleanor Tenney, May Fletcher, Madeline Short, Pearl Johnson, Josephine Short, Maggie Quinn, Thelma Bailey; brothers Ralph, Edward, Herbert , Claude and parents John and Lydda Quinn.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Visitations will also be held on Monday from 6-8PM at Dodd -Reed Funeral Home, 155 McGraw, Webster Springs, West Virginia where services will be held on Tuesday. Burial will be in Powers Cemetery, Cranberry Ridge, Camden-on-Gauley, West Virginia.
