Michael M. Towarnicke's Obituary
Michael M. “Big Mike” Towarnicke, age 73, of North Ridgeville passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home, after a long illness. Michael has been a resident of North Ridgeville for 25 years, after moving from Middleburg Heights. He worked on the line for General Motors at the Parma plant, before retiring in 2006. Michael was also a member of the United Auto Workers Post 1005. He enjoyed music, food, playing the guitar, the piano, and the accordion, and loved the Doobie Brothers. He also served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Michael is survived by his wife Delilah (nee Brown), daughter Holly Gast (Brett Archer) of Olmsted Falls, grandsons Tyler and Carter Gast, brother Paul (Vivian) Towarnicke, and sister Juanita Towarnicke.
He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Kathryn Towarnicke, and former wife Charlotte Zears.
There will be a memorial visitation on Monday September 26th, 2022 at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039 from 4pm until the time of service at 5pm. Fr. Bob Franco will officiate. VFW Post 9871 will perform military honors.
