Michael Shawn Seme's Obituary
Michael Shawn Seme, age 62, of North Ridgeville, passed away suddenly at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center on December 7, 2017.
He was born on June 18, 1955 in Bay Village, Ohio and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 40 years.
He was the owner of Ice Cream Specialties in Bedford.
Michael enjoyed golfing, taking long drives in his Corvette, cooking, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed traveling to Chicago, where he would frequent his favorite restaurants, Portillo’s or Culver’s. The summer months would find him working around his yard, or taking long walks on the Beach in the Outer Banks, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, especially his grandson Pax.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda (nee Wiken); daughter Jessica (Nick) Pascarella of New Lenox, IL; son Michael Seme of Westlake; grandson Pax Pascarella; sister Susan Brunst of Parma; many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Anne (nee Casbarro) Seme.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a 6:00 p.m. Service. Rev. Andrew Hoover will officiate. Interment will be private.
