Michael Manley's Obituary
Michael "Mike" E. Manley, age 69, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at Autumn Healthcare in Zanesville.
He was born in Moundsville, West Virginia and had been a resident of Zanesville since July 2007. He previously lived in Cleveland, Olmsted Falls, Huron and Fairview park.
Mike served in the US Air Force.
He worked as a florist for Hales Flower Shop in North Ridgeville. He previously worked at Hall's Garden and at one time owned his own shop in Huron. He loved flowers and was a real people person.
Survivors include his sisters, Beverly Mason of Sheffield Lake, Kay (Harry) Carmichael of Zanesville, with whom Mike lived, Donna (David) Elson of Shady Side and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. and Eileen Manley; brothers, Barry and Jerry Manley.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road. Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
Rev. Suellen Skinner, Pastor of Brighton Presbyterian Church, Zanesville, will officiate.
Burial will be in Turkey Foot Cemetery, Olmsted Twp.
