Michael Lawhorn's Obituary
Michael L. Lawhorn, age 46, of Elyria, passed away Saturday at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Lorain and had been a resident of Elyria since 1978 moving from Sheffield Village.
Mr. Lawhorn was a supervisor for the Hampson Corporation in Elyria since 1999. He previously worked at Dreco in North Ridgeville for 22 years..
He attended the First Baptist Church in Sheffield Lake.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife 20 years, Laura M. (Nee Keller); daughter Danielle Lawhorn and son Michael both at home; sisters, Pam Finley of Sheffield Village, Sandy Stottlemire of Sheffield Lake, Kathy Nolan of Lorain, Crystal Hughes of Elyria; his parents Sherman and Betty Lawhorn of Sheffield Village.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Rod Hollen, Pastor of First Baptist Church, Sheffield Lake, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
