Michael Joseph Horvath's Obituary
Michael Joseph Horvath, age 59 of Elyria passed away on Tuesday, May 9,2023 after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 15, 1963 in Parma, and has been a resident of Elyria and North Ridgeville for over 20 years. Mike was a U.S. Air Force veteran who went on to work for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller. Mike loved baseball, and his passion was Stratomatic Baseball, along with his online league, the I.C.B.L. He was also an avid music fan, enjoying all types of genres. His second passion was grilling and creating amazing dinners for his family. Mike is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tracy (nee Clark); daughters Ashley (Chad) Kaderbek and Anna Horvath; grandchildren Sophia, Nora, Zachary and Charlotte; mother Patricia (Richard) Lewis; sisters Cathy (Robert) Kuhn and Karen MclIveen. Mike was preceded in death by his father Alex Horvath. Family will receive friends at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville on Tuesday, May 16th from 5 to 7 p.m.
