While I didn't know Mike well, my son perked right up when he say Mr. Mike in the halls of Hyland. My son was excited when Mr. Mike would come to the classrooms of the CEC, he was patient and kind with the children and for that, he will forever be missed. My condolences to your family and the Hyland family.
Like others at Hyland, I've passed Mike in the hallways for years and he always had a kind hello. I was one of the first people back in the office in early 2021 while my kids attended the CEC and Mike was one of the very few people I would see most days taking care of the Hyland campus. Just a few weeks before his passing I submitted a request to have bee hives sprayed near the tennis courts while the kids were getting tennis lessons and I promptly got a reply back from Mike that he took care of it, which made it all the more shocking to learn of his passing weeks later. He will be missed around Hyland! Our condolences to his family and friends!
I've passed Mike in the hallways of Hyland for years - he had a warm smile every time. He will be missed. Sending condolences and love to his family and friends.
Mr. Mike was always kind and friendly when he would do his job. The children also loved saying "Mr. Mike". He will.be missed at the CEC
Mr. Mike was a B1 CEC favorite. He was our Mr. Mike. From hanging shelves, taking care of bees and everything in between- Mr. Mike was there for us. The babies loved watching him tackle all the tasks. He took care of all our needs (and I am sure we poked at his nerves with our requests) with his soft spoken and gentle style. Please know that Mr. Mike touched so many lives.
Mike was a good brother and friend he was also a fellow Marine.
He and I would often talk how walking and living in the Kingdom of GOD would parallel what we were taught and trained in the Marine Corp.
He was kind hearted, gentle ,and never heard him say a harsh word.
You will be GREATLY missed my brother!!!
