Michael E. Cawley's Obituary
Michael E. Cawley, age 73, of Ashland, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at University Hospital Samaritan Ashland Medical Center.
He was born in Beckley, West Virginia and grew up in Shady Springs, West Virginia before moving to Lorain County, where he spent most of his life before moving to Ashland in 2009.
Michael served in the US Air Force from 1965-1969.
He worked for Ford Motor Company on the assembly line, retiring in 1999 after 30 years of service.
He was a member of UAW Local 1425 and First Baptist Church in Ashland.
Michael enjoyed working on cars, Drag Racing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Marlaine (nee Evans); daughter, Sharon Cawley of Elyria; step-daughters, Amy Rosario and Kim (Billie) Vinson both of Ashland; 4 grandchildren; one-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Hilda Cawley; sister, Marsha Cawley.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
