Melissa K. Bako's Obituary
Melissa K. Bako (nee Guthrie), age 50, of Elyria passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was a lifelong resident of the Elyria and Grafton areas and worked as a baker for Elyria Memorial Hospital’s coffee shop for many years.
Melissa enjoyed crafts, jewelry making, writing poetry and going for walks with her dog. She also volunteered at Murray Ridge many years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; sons Daniel Guthrie of Canton, Joel Borrelli of Lakewood; daughter Kailee Borrelli of Elyria; step-daughter Cynthia Wright of Circleville; 10 grandchildren; brother, Richard Guthrie of Elyria; mother, Frankie Guthrie of Elyria; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Guthrie; step-son, Stephen Bako and sister, Debbra Guthrie.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00AM at Brookdale Cemetery, 41600 Oberlin Rd., Elyria.
