Melissa Allman's Obituary
Melissa Allman (nee Dobbins), age 74, of Grafton died Wednesday morning at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Gilmer County, WV. She had resided in the Grafton area the past 50 years moving from Litchfield.
Mrs. Allman enjoyed gardening, quilting and her family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Virgil Sr., two sons, Roger (Barbara) Allman of Grafton, Virgil "Bud"(Polly) Allman Jr. of Elyria, two daughters, Connie Wood of Rittman and Rhonda (Albert) Goldsmith of Litchfield and a grandson she raised, Roger (Janet) Allman of Elyria seven other grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren, five brothers, Orden (Elizabeth) Dobbins of Grafton, Lambert (Blanche) Dobbins of North Ridgeville, Ben (Bernice) Dobbins of Grafton, Zair Dobbins of Grafton, and Oval (Erma) Dobbins of Elyria.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Hallie (nee Deuley) Dobbins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville Oh 44039. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home. Reverend Charles Keesee, Pastor of Midway Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield Township.
