Maxine Willis' Obituary
Maxine Willis (nee Robinette), age 81, of Olmsted Falls, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Southwest General Hospital, Middleburg Hts.
She was born in Belfry, Kentucky and had been a resident of Olmsted Falls for the past 40 years. She had lived in many places while her husband was in military service.
Maxine worked in house keeping for Southwest General Hospital for many years, retiring in 2008.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crafts and crossword puzzles. She was very family oriented, enjoyed phone conversations with relatives and was a great “Mamaw” to her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Barry (Robbie) Willis of Elyria, Jim (Dina) Willis of Brunswick; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Willis of Canton; grandchildren, Dan Gill, Cary Gill, Leia Willis, Sandra (Rich) Griffin, Molly (Eric) Schneck, James, Jessica and Dustin Willis, and Janelle; great-grandchildren, Isabella Gill and Alice Willis, Mady Gill and Zacary Gill; brother, Buck Robinette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E.; son, Tom Willis; four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Bert Ambrose Jr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
