Max Litz's Obituary
Max Litz, age 82, passed away at Falling Water Nursing Center in Strongsville on Friday, October 19, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Max was born on September 15, 1930 in Germany. He worked as a Hydraulic Engineer for Lester Engineering for many years before beginning his own company, Litz Rebuild. During his youth in Germany, Max was an accomplished athlete, playing semi-pro soccer. He was also a natural musician, and played many different instruments. He was a member of the Cleveland Maennerchor Men's Chorus and Die Blauen Jungs Band, which both promoted the German tradition of song. He is survived by his daughters Monika (John) Kaderle, Elisabeth (James) Walker; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Roland Litz. Visitation Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, from 11 a.m. until memorial services at 12 noon. Rev. Douglas Gunkelman will officiate. Interment will be private.
