Maurine Harwedel's Obituary
Maurine M. Harwedel (nee Wood), age 82 of Wellington, died Thursday, March 3, 2005 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
She was born November 26, 1922 in Olmsted Falls. She had resided in Wellington the past 15 years moving from North Ridgeville where she had lived most of her life.
She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, North Ridgeville, of which she was the oldest living member.
Mrs. Harwedel worked for Clarkins Department Store in Elyria for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Dawn M. Reid and Bonnie Sorah both of Wellington; one son, Bruce Harwedel of Streetsboro, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her brother, Herbert Wood of Orange City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by Husband Phillip in 1992 and parents, Floyd and Helen Wood, one brother, James Wood and one granddaughter, Heidi Lynn Harwedel.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Services in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road , North Ridgeville. Floyd Blaine, Assoc. Pastor of First Baptist Church of Spencer will officiate. Internment will follow in Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
