Maryann Janet Leano's Obituary
Maryann Janet Leano, age 81, passed away peacefully Friday, November 16, 2018 at Fairview Hospital after a 6 month brave battle with cancer. She was born September 10, 1937 in Lakewood and has been a life long resident of northern Ohio. She was a graduate of MB Johnson School of Nursing. Janet enjoyed bowling, gardening, cultivating orchids, travel, and touring. She was an avid reader, life-long Indians fan, and was a St. Vincent De Paul volunteer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Dr. Nicandro; children Jim of Golden CO, Ann (Tony) Brady of Akron, Tom (Teresa) of Lansdale, PA, Nick of Avon, Patricia (Stephen) Jay of Columbus; brothers Bernie (Margaret) Bodde of Pinehurst, NC, Marty (Karen) Bodde of Shippensburg, PA; sister Martha Marriott of Ocala, FL; sister-in-law Martha Bodde of Avon Lake; grandchildren Brittany, Alex, Mia, Patrick, Kiara, Adeline, Hayden, Nathaniel; great-granddaughter Iris. She is preceded in death by her parents Martin and Anna Bodde, and brother Bill Bodde. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville from 3-5 pm. A prayer service will be Monday at 9:30 am followed by mass of Christian burial at St Peter Church. Rev Bob Franco will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St Peter Vincentians.
