Mary C. Zacharias' Obituary
Mary C. Zacharias (nee Holtwick), age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Northridge Health Center. She was born on August 18, 1925 in Elyria, and has lived most of her life in North Ridgeville. She was a homemaker, VFW Post 9871 Auxiliary past president, and an active member of St Peter Church where she was a eucharistic minister and Altar & Rosary Society member. Mary enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons John (Celia) of West Minster, Ken (Bonnie) of Windsor, CT, Paul (Sharon) of Columbia Station, Stephen (Maricruz) of Gardiner, Montana; daughters Mary Vittori of Elyria, Julie (Rick) Venglarcik of Tucson, AZ; sisters Carol Loescher of North Ridgeville, Nancy (Carl) Hartman of Lorain, Martha (Tony) Lima of Avon; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert; twin grandsons Joshua and Noah Venglarcik; sister Frances Gilgenbach; son-in-law Jerry Vittori; 5 brothers Thomas, Joseph Holtwick Jr., James, Richard and Robert. Family will receive friends Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM Tuesday, at St Peter Church. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at St Peter Cemetery.
