Mary Louise Whitworth's Obituary
Mary Louise Whitworth (nee Riley), age 84, of Elyria passed away peacefully Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Lake Pointe Health Center in Lorain. She was born in Lexington, KY and moved to Ohio as a teenager where she resided until her death. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching TV and listening to music on the radio. Mrs. Whitworth is survived by daughter Sherri M. Whitworth of Elyria, son Gerrick Von Whitworth and his wife Oscarlane of Mentor, daughter Symetta Whitworth of Columbus, son Takar Whitworth of Elyria, granddaughters Elisabeth Coates, Bennetta Trobel, Alexis Carter and her partner Ryan Johnson, grandsons Michael Jamal Tinsley, Benjamin Trobel, Brian Trobel, Gerrick Von Whitworth II, Andreas Carter, Daunte Carter, Dane Carter and his wife Ashley, great-grandchildren Addison Bracht, Dane Carter Jr., McKenzie Carter, Malachi Carter, Gabriella Carter; 3 brothers; 4 sisters, and many, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives. Mrs. Whitworth is preceded in death by her parents Jeff Riley and Audrey Pinkston; sister Audrey Sherrod, brother James Pinkston, daughter Angdria Whitworth. The family will celebrate her life privately.
