Mary E. Short's Obituary
Mary E. Short, age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born in Cornwell, Ontario and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1976.
Mary was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville.
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was one who loved to create things with her hands, sewing, painting ceramics and making crafts with her grandchildren. She was an avid traveler who enjoyed seeing the world with her husband.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ron, daughter, Debby Thornton of Spring, Texas, son, Kevin (Lorna) Short of Broadview Hts, daughter, Rhonda (Eric) Reitz of Galena, grandchildren, Lisa, Rachel, Zach, Rebecca, Cameron, Sam, Jacob and Adam, 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Vallance, brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1PM until the time of services at 3PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Tony Clark will officiate.
