Mary Grace "Cookie" Schein's Obituary
Mary Grace “Cookie” Schein (nee Cononie), age 85, of North Ridgeville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She was born in Johnstown, PA, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 54 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, swimming and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. A loving dedicated mother to Gary Schein, Kim (Jerry) Kauffman, Karen (Clarence) Lester, Marlene Schein, Brenda (Schein) Brown; a cherished grandmother to Rachel (Mike) Singer, Joshua (Allie) and Melissa, Ben and Aaron; great-grandmother to Daisy Singer. Also survived by sisters Marlene Tkacik, Loretta “Topsy” Shane; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilford; parents Charles and Rose Cononie; brothers John and Carmen Cononie; sister Josephine Grivensky. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville and Monday from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 27993 Detroit Rd, Westlake.
