Mary Margaret Resko's Obituary
Mary Margaret Resko (nee Haralampous) age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, following a long illness.
She was born in Elyria and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville.
Mary worked for EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria for 43 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, Ladies Auxiliary AMVETS Post 22, Vermilion, Loyal Order of the Women of the Moose, Elyria and was past president of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 7035 in Avon.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, word puzzles and volunteering with Special Olympics.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Louis Sr.; daughters, Marie (Jim) Dault of Florence, Wisconsin, Alice (Steve) Logsdon of Houston, Texas; sons, Louis Resko Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Larry Resko (Angie Whitacre) of LaGrange; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Kuna of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne Sue Whitten in 2012; infant daughter, Margaret Resko; infant son, Charles Anthony Resko; parents, Anton and Marie (nee Waldecker) Haralampous; brothers, Michael and Richard Gusky; sisters, Natalie Bodnar, Joan Hrnchar, Patricia Hess, Sue Metzger and Ann Tompkins.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Sanson will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Memorial Fund.
