Mary Peabody's Obituary
Mary K. Peabody (nee Kostelnik), age 86, of Elyria, died Thursday at EMH Regional Medical Center, following a short illness.
She was born in Wolf Run, Ohio and had been a resident of Elyria since 1942.
She worked as a manager of a health food store in Cleveland during the 1940's.
Mrs. Peabody enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Peabody-Smith of Ahoskie, North Carolina; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sister, Ann Shells of Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max in 1991; parents Michael and Mary Kostelnik; sister, Tillie Plesh; brother Andrew Kostelnik and grandsons Stephen and Daniel Smith.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of services at 11:00AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Duncan Meadows, Pastor of New Life Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
