Mary Lou Pajak's Obituary
Mary Lou Pajak, age 62, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 22, 1963, in Elyria, where she has been a lifelong resident. She worked as a clerk at the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2024. In her free time, Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her pets, going on bike rides, knitting and crafts. She is survived by many friends in Jon (Sandra) Sedlacek. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents Lucille R. (nee Halitzka) and John R. Pajak Sr.; brothers John R. Jr. and Larry Pajak. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue Elyria, 44035, where family will receive friends in the Weigand Room in the parish center at St. Mary Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Rev. Charles T. Diedrick will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
