Mary I. Mahl's Obituary
Mary I. Mahl (nee Walters), age 101, of North Ridgevile, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at O’Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville. She was born in Shelby and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1950. Mary was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville where she was the secretary/treasurer of the PTU in the 1950’s. She was also active in the North Ridgeville Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, baking, working around the house and making crafts.
Survivors include her daughter, Marian (James) Carter of Grafton; grandchildren Jim Carter, Rachelle Mahl, Jesse Brooks, and Vanessa Marchese; great-grandchildren Alex Day, Cameron Day, Anthony Marchese, and Dominic Marchese.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Joan Brooks; granddaughter Lisa Carter; parents, Howard and Ethel Walters; brother, Herbert Walters; sister, Evelyn Walters.
Funeral Service Tuesday, June 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of Service. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate.
A private interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
