Mary Lou Yost's Obituary
Loving wife, mother and grandmother Mary Lou Yost, age 88, of Elyria, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at UH Elyria Medical Center. She was born in Uniontown, PA and had been a resident of Elyria since 1955. She was a homemaker and member of Community of Faith United Church of Christ in Elyria, OH, Naples United Church of Christ, Naples, FL, Elyria Women’s Club, Naples Women’s Club, Spring Valley and Elyria Country Club’s. Mary Lou enjoyed painting, carving, reading, swimming, golfing, shopping, and traveling. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Dale; children Chris (Mellodie) Varndell of Elyria, OH, Doreen Sinegar of North Ridgeville, OH, Kimberly (Tom) Rollbuhler of Woodstock, GA; step-children Bob (Brenda) Yost of Elyria, OH, Linda (Mike) Wieser of Elyria, OH; grandchildren Matthew, Ryan (Betsy), Jeff (Amy), Jason (Darya), Kyle, Colton, Lexie, Leanne (Jessie), Laura (John), Lindsay (Joe), Brett (Danielle), Tyler; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings Bob (Alvira) Colbert, Donna Lee (Ron) David; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Varndell in 1995; parents Samuel and Gertrude Colbert; brother Barry Colbert. Memorial visitation Friday, October 7, 2022, from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Pastor Arik Burstad will officiate.
