Mary Defranco's Obituary
Mary Jeanne "Mickey" DeFranco (nee Blaha), age 77 of North Ridgeville died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland.
She was born December 31, 1930 in Cleveland and resided in North Ridgeville the past 6 years having moved from Lakewood. She wintered in Fort Myers, Florida for the past 20 years.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
She worked as an X-Ray Technician for General Motors Parma Chevy Plant retiring in 1985 after 20 years of service. She enjoyed country line dancing and was a member of the Westside Irish American Club.
Surviving are daughters, Donna (Louis) Florjancic of Concord Twp and Tina Kinsella of Lakewood, sons, Darryl (Barbara) DeFranco of Cleveland and Timothy (Victoria) DeFranco of Amherst, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and was an aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Pope.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9PM, Friday, April 4 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10 AM Saturday at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd, N. Ridgeville. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
In Lue of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 East 185th Street Cleveland, Ohio 44119-1330.
