Mary Caruso's Obituary
Mary B. Caruso, age 87, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Arden Courts Assisted Living in Westlake where she had resided for the past year. She previously resided in North Ridgeville for 42 years.
She was born November 11, 1924 in Greensburg, PA to the late Calogero and Lucia (nee Palachino) Bognano. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dominic, Concetto, Samuel and John Bognano.
Mary was employed as an elementary school secretary at both Fields-Sweet and Liberty Elementary Schools in North Ridgeville. In her free time, she also enjoyed swimming, exercising, traveling, reading, praying and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She found her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Frank (Cindy) of Avon, John (Kathy) of Medina and Angela Caruso-Smick (Dave) of Westlake; grandchildren, Shannon, Eric, Sara, Angelo, Dominic, Cameron and Ryan; sisters, Josephine Foti, Pauline Fritz and Mildred "Babe" Pacienza, all of Greensburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Committal rites and entombment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
