Mary Camino's Obituary
Mary Camino (nee Calvitti), age 87, of Avon Lake, died Friday at the home of her son; following a brief illness.
She was born in Montreal, Quebec and came to the United States in 1921. She had lived in South Euclid, Port Richie, FL and North Ridgeville; before moving to Avon Lake.
Mrs. Camino worked for Warner-Swasey Company, Cleveland during WW ll and for the Ohio Knitting Mills, Cleveland for 8 years.
She is a former member of the K of C Womens Auxilary in Port Richie, the Macrame Club, in Port Richie, Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, South Euclid and Saint Peter Catholic, North Ridgeville. She is currently a member of saint Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake.
She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and crafts.
Survivors include her daughter; Jeannette M. (Lawrence)Turton, of Indiana, PA and her son; Nicholas A.(Barbara)Camino, of Avon Lake; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Anthony Camino (1999); her parents, Lorenzo and Angelina (nee Grammatica) Calvitti; brother, Nicholas Calvitti and sister, Rose Adovasio.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-7 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 8:45 AM on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 AM at Saint Joseph, Avon Lake.
. Reverend Timothy O'Connor, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
