Mary Brown's Obituary
Mary F. Brown (nee Starkey), age 83, of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday at the Elyria United Methodist Village, Elyria, following a long illness.
She was born in Nelsonville, OH and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1960. She also had lived in Elyria.
Mrs. Brown enjoyed camping, crafts and making quilts.
She was a member of the Black River Trail Blazers, the Richland Rascals and the National Campers and Hikers Association.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Paul G. Brown; son, Paul F. Brown, of North Ridgeville; daughters, Carolyn ( William ) Green, of Elyria and Roseanna Parsons, of Springfield, OH; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Lynn Brown, grandchildren, Michael Paul Burson and Deanna E. Edgar-Hernandez; her parents, Enos and Blanche (nee Love) Starkey; brothers, Earl, Cecil and Ralph Starkey; sisters, Bertha Long and Annabelle Porter.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Reverend C. Michael Gibson, pastor of Fields United Methodist church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
