Mary Ann Augustine's Obituary
Mary Ann Augustine, age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at her home.
She was born on September 5, 1946, in Mishawaka, Indiana and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 23 years, moving from North Olmsted. She was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville and was involved with the Lay Sisters of Holy Love. She had worked as a registered nurse for many years and had spent the last 20 years working as the manager at Holy Love Ministries in Eaton Township.
In her free time, Mary Ann enjoyed oil painting, photography, sewing and reading.
She is survived by her son Matthew (Jennifer) Shaffer; grandchildren John, Elizabeth and Maisie Shaffer; siblings Jeanine (Randy) Reynolds of Mishawaka, IN, Barbara Barone of Ft. Wayne, IN, Christine (Ralph) Parcell of Ft. Wayne, In and Tammie Rae Augustine of PA; many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Augustine and Patricia Barone (nee Parr), sister Susan Augustine.
Family will receive friends at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Thursday from 4-7PM where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Fr. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations be made in Mary Ann’s name to Holy Love Ministries or the Building on the Rock St. Peter Building Fund.
