Martha L. Kushen-Miller's Obituary
Martha L. Kushen-Miller, age 78 of Elyria, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Decatur, TN and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 50 years, moving from Cleveland. She worked as a nurse’s aide for Life Care Center of Westlake for 45 years. Martha enjoyed playing bingo, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Gary; children Kimberly (Tim) Everett of Elyria, Jeffrey (Connie Daniels) Kushen of Elyria, Douglas Kushen of Elyria, Daniel Kushen of Lorain, Raymond (Kim) Kushen of North Ridgeville, Rebecca Serrano of SC, Michelle (David Swain) Miller of VA; 9 grandchildren (Stacy, Trista, Jamie, Tricia, Travis, Kristy, Sarah, Athena & Oliver); 3 great-grandchildren (Kole, Reily, Harper); sister Ann & brother Roy; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Nora Powell; brothers: William (JR), Harold, Lloyd and Floyd; and sisters: Mildred, Jean, Lorene, Francis and Mary.
